This article deals with the covenant between God and the Jewish people; A red thread that runs through the first parts of the Bible and is one of the vital pillars of Judaism. You will be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin, and it will be a sign of the action between me and you. “They did not keep God`s covenant; they refused to walk in his law, forgetting his works and miracles which he had shown them” (Psalm 78:10-11). In the Hebrew Bible, the covenant (in Hebrew: berit) is the formal agreement between Yhwh and the people of Israel and Judah, in which each accepts a number of obligations towards the other. The language and understanding of the federal state is based on ancient treaties between the nations of the Middle East. The New Testament makes a clear distinction between the covenants of the Mosaic Law and the covenant of promise. The Apostle Paul spoke of these “two covenants,” one “from Mount Sinai,” the other from “Jerusalem at the top” (Gal 4:24-26). Paul also argued that the mount Sinai alliance was a “service of death” and “condemnation” (2 Co 3, 7, 9). When Paul recited the account of the Last Supper, he quoted these words of Jesus on the cup as “the new covenant in my blood” (1 Co 11:25).
The prophets also declare foreign invasion and exile because of the people`s failure to respect their obligations to Yhwh (z.B Hos 4; Amos 2:6-16. They consider Israel`s restoration or return to the country after exile as a consequence of Israel`s conversion (Hos 14; Amos 3-5; Jer 7) or Yhwh`s commitment to maintaining the eternal covenant (Jes 40-55; Jer 33; Ezek 33-48). The Israelis accepted God`s terms, and he confirmed his commitment to them. “. . . Another covenant was between God and King David, in which David and his descendants were established as royal heirs to the throne of the land of Israel (2 Sat. 7:12-13). “Behold, the days come,” said the Lord, when I conclude a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not after the covenant I made with their fathers on the day I took them by the hand to take them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke, even though I was a man to them. “Say the Lord” (Jeremiah 31:31-32). By not obeying God – by disregarding its laws – Israel violated the conditions of the Association. The Israelis simply had no desire, commitment or will to follow God`s ways and instructions. They have done what comes from themselves to humanity is to despise God and hate His law (Romans 8:7). “. . . This relationship was, to some extent, schematic according to marital union. But it was not in the heart of Israel to obey God. By Jeremiah, the prophet, God said to Israel: “Truly, as a woman eloquently from her husband, you have acted insidiously with me, O house of Israel . . . (Jeremiah 3:20). Earlier, God had said to Samuel: . . . They rejected me so that I would not rule over them” (1 Samuel 8:7). The Christian theologian John F. Walvoord asserts that the Covenant of David deserves an important place in determining God`s intentions and that his exegesis confirms the doctrine of a future reign of Christ on earth.
 While Jewish theologians have always felt that Jesus did not meet the expectations of a Jewish Messiah, curative biblical theologians (historically grammatical) almost agree that Jesus should fully respond to the Covenant of David, of which Walvoord lists the provisions: in the Bible, the Ark of the Covenant is closely linked to a divine presence that sometimes manifests in unpredictable and violent ways.
